Shine Salon in Savannah: our history.

Billy Purvis and Michael Whitehead are the founders of Shine Salon Savannah, a Bumble and bumble signature salon, located in downtown Savannah, Georgia.

Living in Savannah for more than ten years, these master stylists, with over 30 years of experience each, visualized an opportunity to create their own space to share not only their expertise, but also their core values.

The co-owners of Shine Salon Savannah designed their business to foster a positive customer experience in all steps their customers go through in engaging with the hair salon; to focus on the well-being and continuous education of their talented team; to continue providing high quality products and services to customers; to create a welcoming and relaxing environment; and to continue improving and serving with excellence their esteemed generations of customers.

Shine Salon Savannah opened the doors in 2019, but the salon strong positive reputation in the beauty industry has been growing for decades. It is the result of the talent and professionalism of each team member, which includes Billy Purvis and Michael Whitehead as well as Anna K. Amerson, Dawn Brown, Maria Vaughn, and VML.
